M.E.I. Consultants, a leading engineering design firm, is proud to announce the successful completion of the conceptual design for KOA Denko Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.’s new manufacturing facility, located in Bukit Katil, Melacca, Malaysia, with a total built-up area of over 1.4 million square feet.
KOA Denko, a distinguished manufacturer of resistors and electrical components since 1940, offers a diverse range of high-quality products, from general-purpose resistors to power resistors. The company’s commitment to excellence has driven its expansion efforts, beginning with the establishment of its first overseas plant in Batu Berendam, Malacca, in November 1973.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the new manufacturing facility, held on October 17, 2023, was honored by the presence of the Chief Minister of Melaka, YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh. This event marks a significant milestone in KOA Denko’s ongoing expansion and underscores its dedication to innovation and growth in the manufacturing sector.
